Abstract
The research carried out in the 1970s on new textual theories makes it possible to redefine the notion of « textuality ». Once applied to the musical philological field, these new theoretical frameworks enable us to change our way to approach musical textualities. The idea of a musical text thus does not simply refer to music scores, but to any meaningful element which contributes to the musical project. This paper will explore these different forms of textuality and will define the practical and theoretical spaces in which they belong.
